What Hollywood thought of William and Kate?

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge mingled with the stars last night at the BAFTA reception. They enjoyed conversation with the likes of Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman and Barbara Streisand (Who was reportedly furious about having too make the first move, walking over them) Divas  eh? :) Apparently the Americans are comparing William and Kate to JFK and Jackie Kennedy! There is no doubt they have re energised our interest in the monarchy since their spectacular wedding. They are as good looking as any Hollywood couple and just so down to earth and nice. How could we not love them? So, What did the Hollywood elite think of the Royal couple?


Nicole Kidman 'They make me smile. I love them. I think they are lovely. I have just off the phone from my mom and she said it's so good you are going. We are Australian, where the Queen is head of state'.


Nigel Lythgoe 'Kate has what Simon Cowell would say is, the X factor'


Stephen Fry 'They are first setting out on the beginning of their life and duty and so on. I think you'd have to be very narrow minded, very feeble and mean spirited to dent the skill and charm with which they go about their work'.
