Kate's Biography!

Catherine Elizabeth Middleton  was born January 9, 1982 in  Reading, Berkshire, England. Her parents worked as a pilot and air hostess. Michael and Carole Middleton.  Known as 'kate' to her family she is the oldest of three children, Philippa Charlotte (Pippa) was born in 1983 and her brother James in (1987) Her parents married on 21 June 1980 at the Parish Church of  Dorney, Buckinghamshire. In 1987 they founded party pieces, a mail order company that sells party supplies. Kate's paternal family came from Leeds, Her maternal family were coal miners from Sundeland and County Durham. From 1984-1986 Kate's  parents were based in Amman, Jordan where she attended English nursery school.  Upon their return she attended St Andrew's school in Berkshire then Downe house.  Afterwards she attended a co-ed boarding school (Marlborough college) This was a difficult time for Kate as she was severely bullied in Downe house hence switching schools.  This continued at Marlborough where the male students rated her two out of ten, Despite this kate was studious and passed eleven GCSE'S and three A levels. In 2001 Kate became the first person in her family to attend university by enrolling at St. Andrew's University where she was to meet her future husband, Prince William of Wales.  She was placed in St Salvator's hall the same building as Prince William. They had several similar classes and new each other casually, At this point there was no romantic interest, Kate was dating senior Rupert Finch and William was busy with royal duties and the press. In 2002 Kate modeled for a student charity fashion show, It was at this precise moment that William fell for her, As she was still involved with Finch she apparently rejected his advances that night.

Quite soon after this William and Kate became a couple, Keeping their relationship as secret as possible the couple didn't kiss or hold hands in public. In 2005 Kate attended a royal ski trip, At this point she became the subject of intense press scrutiny. After this she received 24 hour security.Kate graduated with a 2.1 MA History of art. As the girlfriend of a prince finding a suitable job with the intense media interest was difficult. In November 2006 Kate accepted the position of accessories buyer with the clothing chain Jigsaw. She remained in this position until 2008 when she was reported to be taking photography classes.  Kate soon became a fashion favourite topping lists in Tatler, People and The Daily Telegraph.
On 14 February 2007 it was announced the Kate and William had separated.  Numerous rumours arose, William wanting to see other women, pressure to get married. careers conflicting.  Despite insisting they were still good friends Kate was reportedly heartbroken.  She attended the concert for Diana at Wembley where she and William sat two rows apart.
In April 2008 Kate accompanied William as he was awarded his RAF wings. 

. Prince William and Catherine Middleton became engaged in Kenya  during a ten day trip to the Lewa Wildlife conservancy to celebrate William passing his RAF search and rescue course. Clarence house announced the engagement on 16 November 2010.
The couple married in Westminster abbey on 29 April 2011.  The day was declared a bank holiday and was watched globally by over two billion people.
Kate wore a stunning McQueen gown and a tiara given to her by the Queen.  Almost over two thousand guests were invited.  William and Catherine were given the title of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, After a weekend spent in Britain, William returned to work and the couple have settled to live in Anglesey, Wales for the coming two years.
