Five Hollywood Friends of Prince William & Catherine

Prince William and Princess Catherine's
Five Best Friends in Hollywood

So, Prince William and Princess Catherine are dripping with Tinseltown
pals, right? "As Prince William has never been to Hollywood before, and
Princess Catherine has never been to America," royal biographer
Andrew Morton, of The Morton Report, tells us, "it would be fair to say that
Prince William and Princess Catherine have very few if any friends in Hollywood."

Prince William Wedding News: Five Hollywood Friends of Prince William and Princess Catherine

So, OK, Prince William and Princess Catherine are not dripping. Yet. Here's a rundown of the royal duo, Prince William and Princess Catherine's show-biz besties, pending their arrival in California:

William and Kate play 'street hockey' in Yellowknife!

William and Kate have arrived at Somba K'e civic Plaza in Yellowknife, Northwest territories.  They were greeted by crowds eager to see the royal couple after months of preparation and planning. William made a speech speaking of his joy at being in Canada. Immediately after this formal event it was time for some fun for the Duke and Duchess!
Kate who was a wonderful hockey player during her school years initiated a game of 'street hockey' However, due to wearing her favourite £175 LK Bennett heels she opted to cheer on William instead. She said to a player from Yellowknife 'I would have taken a shot if I wasn't in heels'. (We would all have loved to have seen that :)) No doubt Kate would have pulled it off with her usual effortless elegance!

Kate did throw the ball in to start the game. Despite Prince William's best efforts he failed to get a goal in. He even jokingly said to 6'3 goalie Calvin Lomen 'You realise you've got to let one in'.  Duchess Kate looked beautiful in a cream Malene Birger  bullet dress (A high street Danish designer) I would have sworn myself it was either a McQueen or Erdem number. The structured shoulders are gorgeous and add an edginess to Kate's classic look. It was available HERE but seems to be sold out even before Kate wore it! Fascinating to see the quality of clothes on the high street but Kate could make a paper bag look good. She teamed the dress with the aforementioned LK Bennett heels. The Duchess also dispalyed her gardening skills again planting a shrub. There has been some news from St. James's palace announcing another public engagement for the couple: They will fly to Slave Lake to meet with rescue workers who fought wildfires that caused great destruction in the area last month. (And they thought they were getting a day off) It is nice to see them making the most of their tour!

Another outfit for the beautiful Duchess before departing with William on a sea plane for Blanchford lake. I think  Kate wore a camel coloured Burberry shirt with her sebago loafers and jeans. I love this look, She does casual chic so well! If this is it, After much speculation and confusion with the Reiss Ariana the shirt is Burberry (Thanks to the wonderful people at What Kate wore), It has sold out already unfortunately! (Kate may bring retailers out of recession yet :))

Crowds gather as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive in Yellowknife

Prince William and Duchess Kate have arrived in Yellowknife, The fourth stop on their Canadian tour. Large crowds gathered around the airport as they arrived. After a tiring dragon boat race yesterday the couple showed no signs of slowing down. They are taking tomorrow off to relax. (A welcome rest I'm sure) William and Kate were greeted by two little girls with flowers. It is again, a busy day for the couple. I will update with photos and news throughout the day! :)

Kate was wearing the navy trench coat from yesterday, It's the 'Ted Baker Jinan trench coat'. (With many thanks to @Perfect_sinner on twitter who is just wonderful regarding Kate's looks) Even on her first official royal tour, Kate is proving she is still a fan of the high street. She looked amazing and very chic. With navy pumps and her hair worn down it transformed her look from day to night!

Yesterday was such an eventful day from the dragon boat race to Kate posing with someone dressed up as 'Anne of Green Gables'. I just had to show you more photos. (Sometimes the best photos don't surface until the next day)

Capturing a memory of William landing a helicopter

Anyone for lobster?

No hard feelings about the race :)

The couple share a private joke

Love the 'swish effect' to this dress

Prince William splashes down in Canadian helicopter

Prince William Splashes
Down inCanadian helicopter

Prince William splashed down on a Prince Edward Island lake in a massive Sea King helicopter for an emergency water landing drill, on the fifth day of a landmark Canadian tour with Prince William's wife Catherine. Prince William, whose day job is a Royal Air Force search and rescue pilot in Anglesey, Wales, was taking part in a "waterbirding" exercise on Monday, midway through the British royal couple, Prince William and Princess Catherine's official visit, after arriving for a private reception in nearby Charlottetown, capital of Prince Edward Island, on Sunday evening.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge have a walkabout in the rain. Prince William and Princess Catherine also competed in Chinese dragon boat races with Canada's national team
( Prince William's team won "by a narrow margin" ) and would later observe search and rescue operations from the deck of a coast guard ship.

William and Kate share hug after competing in dragon boat race

William and Kate today, competed in a dragon boat race in Prince Edward Island. William and his team victorious against Kate's team but it was the tender hug the couple shared after the race that grabbed everyone's attention. It is the most relaxed and casual I have seen them. Perhaps the press coverage is becoming 'normal' for them. The race which took place over Dalvey lake was disrupted by poor weather conditions but it didn't stop the couple performing their royal duties. Kate was seen taking photos of William throughout the day. (They seem so genuinely in love)

Prince William also took part in a training demonstration landing a helicopter on water. Kate waved lovingly to her husband during this exercise. Kate changed from her McQueen knit dress into a trench she previously wore in 2008. She wore it with flats, pants and a Hugo Boss scarf. Kate later changed into skinny jeans for the race. Although the attire was practical, I thought Kate looked really good. She pulls off casual chic so well.

Kate first wore the trench coat in 2008

Kate reveals her fears for William as the couple get to know Prince Edward Island

William and Kate have begun their day in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island at Provence house , the birthplace of confederation. William said 'It is quite the moment for Catherine and me to be standing here in Atlantic Canada, in front of in front of Provence house where Canadian confederation was forged'. The couple then took part in a walkabout where they greeted over 30,000 tourists.

It has also been revealed that at Ottawa's memorial park while talking to a military wife. Kate revealed how she deeply worries for William while he's at work. 'I always worry but my job is to support my husband. You should always support your husband. I worry when William goes on a mission. I find it very difficult. You always fear for them not knowing not knowing if something is going to happen and it can be very hard'. The much loved Duchess perhaps found it easy to relate to a military wife who would understand the same fears.

Kate is wearing a Sarah Burton for McQueen cream and navy knit dress with her prada pumps and sapphire earrings. Her hair is tied back (which I love on her) The dress isn't one of my favourites but I still think we will see her wear something vibrant and colourful before the tour is over. It was designed with one of Kate's favourite books in mind 'Anne of green gables'. Next the couple will compete in a dragon boat race.

Kate admits she 'hopes to' have a baby in Prince Edward Island

For the first time ever, Duchess Kate has spoken about having a family. After arriving in Charlotte, Prince Edward Island, The Duchess was handed a bouquet of flowers by the beautiful, two year old daughter of British ex pat David Cheater. He wished Kate the best of luck starting a family and she replied 'Yes, I hope to'. Kate will not be making any formal speeches during the royal tour, however this statement proves she is more interested in interacting with the people of Canada. We may be seeing a baby on the way in the not too distant future!

Kate made her second outfit change of the day, This time into a loose fitting Joseph  Vanessa cream dress with a beautiful matching jacket and Rupert Sanderson nude heels. I love this look. I think the jacket sets it off wonderfully and the heels are the most stylish shoes I've seen Kate wear. The Duchess carried the LK Bennett Natalie clutch too. (Kate must have improved sales at LK Bennett massively in the past few months).

It will be another busy day for William and Kate with public engagements in Charlottestown, Summerside and a journey to the Northwest Territories later this evening. The couple show no signs of tiredness and have approached the tour full of energy. I look forward to seeing what Kate chooses today. Perhaps a British deisgner?
